1. What we collect

When you use Pack Portrait, we collect: the photos you upload to generate a portrait; your email address if you provide one (for order updates or to find a past order); and payment information, which goes directly to Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

2. How we use your photos

Your uploaded photos are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate your portrait, and kept only as long as needed to create your previews and fulfill any order. We don't use your photos to train AI models, and we don't share them with anyone except the providers required to run the service, listed below.

3. Who we share data with

• Google (Gemini API) — processes your photos to generate portraits.
• Stripe — processes payments securely; handles your card details directly.
• Resend — sends order and confirmation emails on our behalf.
• Railway — hosts the website and backend.
• Our print partners — produce and ship physical keepsakes, and receive the portrait image and shipping address needed to fulfill your order.

We don't sell your personal data to anyone.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use basic analytics to understand how people use the site and improve it — the same thing our cookie notice tells you when you first visit. This covers things like page views and clicks, not the contents of your photos.

5. Data retention

We keep generated portraits and order details for as long as needed to support you (for example, if you want to re-download a past purchase) or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see below.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, including your uploaded photos, by emailing hello@packportrait.com. We'll respond as quickly as we can.

7. Children's privacy

Pack Portrait isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
